PaydayPilot is built on a simple principle: we don't want your data, and we don't need it.
Nothing. PaydayPilot does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All budget and expense data you enter is stored exclusively on your device in an encrypted local database.
PaydayPilot connects to your YNAB account using the official YNAB API and OAuth 2.0 authorization. This means:
All budget categories, expense records, and paycheck history are stored in an encrypted SQLite database (SQLCipher) on your device. This data is never uploaded, backed up to our servers, or shared with any third party.
PaydayPilot does not connect to banks, credit unions, or any financial institutions. It does not access account numbers, routing numbers, or banking credentials of any kind.
None. PaydayPilot contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting services that transmit data externally, no advertising frameworks, and no tracking of any kind. We have no visibility into how or how often you use the app.
The Premium subscription is processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not receive, process, or store any payment information. All subscription management (including cancellation) is handled through your Apple ID settings.
We do not share any data with any third parties, because we do not have any data to share.
PaydayPilot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date below and note it in the App Store release notes.
